Placed is an augmented reality (AR) app that lets you preview artwork in your space using your device's camera. This policy explains what the app accesses, what we collect, and how it's used.
Enquiry details — if you choose to enquire about an artwork, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number. These details are stored securely and shared with the artist or their representative so they can respond to you directly. We use them only for this purpose.
Placed doesn't require an account. We don't collect your location, and we don't use your data for advertising or tracking. Your room scans, wall photos, and any artwork you upload yourself remain on your device and are never sent to us.
Enquiry details are stored using Supabase, our database provider. Data is stored in the Asia-Pacific region. We share your enquiry details only with the artist you enquired about, or their representative. We do not sell your information.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your enquiry details at any time by contacting placed.appleapp@gmail.com. We retain enquiry records only as long as needed to facilitate contact between you and the artist.
Placed is a general-audience app. The enquiry feature is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you're a parent who believes your child has submitted their details, contact us at placed.appleapp@gmail.com and we'll delete them.
You can turn off Camera or Photo Library access anytime in your device Settings. Deleting the app removes any data stored locally.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
