Placed is an augmented reality (AR) app that lets you preview artwork in your space using your device's camera. Previews are for visualisation purposes only — colours, scale, and placement may not exactly match real life.
Placed is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may only use the app with parental or guardian consent. The enquiry feature is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Placed uses your device's camera and, optionally, your photo library to power the AR preview. Room scans and wall photos are processed on your device. Artwork you browse in the Discover catalogue is retrieved from our servers. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Any images you use in Placed remain yours. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to use any artwork or image you import.
Artworks in the Discover catalogue remain the property of their respective artists or rights holders. They are displayed for visualisation purposes only. You may not download, reproduce, or redistribute them. All catalogue artworks are either in the public domain or included with the permission of the artist or rights holder. If you believe a work has been included without authorisation, contact us at placed.appleapp@gmail.com and we will review and remove it promptly.
Placed lets you submit an enquiry about an artwork. We pass your details to the artist so they may contact you. Placed is not a party to any resulting transaction, does not process payments, and makes no guarantee that an artist will respond or that a work remains available. Any sale is solely between you and the artist.
Placed is provided "as is." We don't guarantee the app will be error-free or that previews will precisely match real-world appearance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Placed will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
